Doodles on iPad circa 2015

I’ve thought about starting this blog for quite some time now –years actually. So here’s a bit about myself. I’m a fashion designer and self-taught digital artist. I started doodling on my iPad back in 2013 when I was looking for a new creative outlet. Apple pencils weren’t a thing at the time so I just started doodling with my finger in a “Notes” application. It felt so organic and free compared to the permanence of “putting pen to paper” (although I still love sketching on real paper!) and really helped me get comfortable with the idea of digital sketching. These doodles eventually turned into fashion illustrations as I continued practicing during my free time and soon became a full blown obsession. I upgraded to a iPad pro and Apple Pencil and haven’t looked back since!
